JET 180 Degree T-Stat/Red line Water Wetter

Next up, we installed a Jet products 180 degree thermostat and Redline products "Water Wetter" cooling system additive. We also added a switch for the electric engine cooling fan motor, so that we could control the fan independently from the ECM. (1993 and earlier models use a belt driven fan, so this does not apply to those models) We also began cooling the engine for at least an hour between 1/4 mile passes, as well as iced down the upper intake manifold.
PARTS COST: About $50.00 (includes new antifreeze and gaskets)
LABOR: Simple job can be done by averager do-it-your-selfer.

We found the car to run much cooler after this mod and we honestly believe the thermostat helps performance.
